R.C. Thompson says: I was once a regular letter righter to the local newspaper.The editor liked me so much he often called me himself to confirm me as the letter writer. He never asked me to change anything controversial until I wrote a piece critical of Israel. I pointed out that the hard liners' tactics toward the Palestinians weren't much different than how Germans treated the Jews before WWII During the run up to the later genocide. The hypocrisy if Israels' far right was the topic and history proved my point. Needless to say Jim never printed that letter and soon after my subsequent letters or any topic weren't printed at all- go figure.
