7 Reasons why you should still invest in Silver

By: Wilson Blair
1.) The gold to silver ratio has come down dramatically recently and currently stands at around 37 to 1. However this number historically has been closer to 16 to 1. If gold prices stayed the same, and silver increased until it reached this historical ration, an ounce of silver would cost $91.15.

3.) Silver investing is not in a bubble. Right now the total value of silver ETF’s equal about one tenth the market capitalization of General Electric. It more than likely will turn into a bubble in the future if prices explode, which would drive prices even higher. This is all the more reason to invest now before the bubble starts.

4.) Invest in silver and bankrupt the Fed!! Just ask Max Keiser. The last thing Ben Bernanke wants is for people to start hording silver. This takes power away from him and diminishes his ability to control the US economy and create inflation. If you don’t like the Fed, invest in silver.

5.) New touch screen technology and solar panels require silver nanowires. If you believe that iPads and renewable energy are the way of the future, than silver demand is going to skyrocket in the near future.

6.)Silver production is not keeping pace with demand. Not even close. From 2009 to 2010 silver rose 75%, but production only rose 2.5%. Investing now may be your last opportunity before silver becomes too scarce to buy.

7.) INFLATION. Isn’t this reason enough?
